Pachamama: Camilla Boutique Launch
“I just want to make women look and feel beautiful whether it’s in a figure-hugging micro mini or a lavishly bejewelled cocktail dress.” – Camilla Franks
Dynamic Australian fashion designer Camilla Franks has been the definitive style catalyst in transforming kaftans into chic wardrobe staples for fashionistas and celebrities across the globe. A Camilla boutique recently opened in Cottesloe and we were engaged to organize the launch event in conjunction with Sydney-based SBPR.
Camilla had not seen the boutique until the afternoon of the launch event and her Angels worked furiously to present the Pachamama collection to over 80 VIP guests and media.
The brief outlined a South-American theme stressing the rustic, natural, organic and colourful nature of this area. It was important that the food and beverage complimented the theme yet allowed guests to shop. The fantastic staff from Cocktail Gastronomy designed a menu highlighting classic South American tastes such as the traditional Peruvian seafood ceviche and traditional Argentinian bocaditos – cuban manchego, pulled beef, and chicken and Spanish bean empanadas – washed down with a Plum Pisco Sour.
The event extended beyond the confines of the store and as such we needed to create a comfortable lounge area for guests. Mr Pot Plants provided native style plants to match the South American nature of the Pachamama collection. The fantastic Code Bloom provided several collections of succulents and incredible arrangements that were spread throughout the store and outdoor area.
