Plating Up WA, an initiative from the WA Government’s Buy West Eat Best program, is back for another year, running through June 2022.
Plating Up WA aims to shine a light on dishes featuring WA’s best winter produce paired with local wine, beer, and spirits in what has become a staple on WA’s tourism and hospitality calendar.
For the first time in its history, Plating Up WA will be serving an international audience, with the campaign heading over to Singapore.
Alannah Mac Tierman, WA’s Agriculture and Food Minister, said, “Plating Up WA is a successful campaign to stimulate interest and demand for WA’s fresh seasonal food and beverages and the restaurants that use them.
“This year, we go beyond our borders to our neighbours in Singapore, aiming to rebuild export markets after two years of disruption.
“Take the opportunity this June to dine out and experience the flavour sensations of top WA produce, including lobster and truffle dumplings, pork shoulder vindaloo, a hearty soup with gold band snapper and local winter vegetables. Buy West Eat Best.”
Coffey & Tea, in partnership with Plating Up WA’s project lead, Fresh Creative, will be looking after all of Plating Up WA’s social media throughout the event – including content creation, community management, strategy, advertising, planning, and competition.
Every year, venues across the state take part in Plating Up WA, dishing up fresh seafood, seasonal fruit and vegetables, and premium meats like pork and goat.
In an exciting boost for Perth’s northern suburbs, Coffey & Tea client Joondalup Resort will be one of the 31 venues participating in this year’s Buy West Eat Best event.
