Running over a whopping nine days, Meg joined an incredible line up of local and international talent.
Our very own Managing Director, Meg Coffey recently presented at the SWARM 2020 conference.
Speaking to an audience of diverse business professionals, Meg shared her keynote presentation Sustainable Storytelling for your Community.
Covering her most sought-after tips for repurposing content across different community segments, she taught listeners how to create a story that people want to finish, and how to create strategies that elevate stories and voices across communities.
Founded in 2011, SWARM is Australia’s flagship conference for online community professionals connects local builders, thinkers, managers and makers with top international talent for two days of learning, collaboration, inspiration and outcomes.
SWARM grew out of the Australian Community Manager Roundtables in 2009, and was created by veteran community management leaders Venessa Paech and Alison Michalk to support and grow the industry.
A powerhouse in the digital and social media industry, Meg’s called upon by local and national media for the latest digital news. Deemed a go-to source, she makes regular appearances on Sunrise, The Today Show, Channel Nine News, 6PR and The Daily Telegraph.
For those who are yet to meet our Meg, she’s originally from Texas and now proudly Australian, the “Texstralian” as she puts it. Working hard is her middle name, she calculates risks and has a great “gift of the gab”. While Meg is a hospitality and tourism sector specialist, her skill and understanding of “social” translates to any application, and she leads the charge for digital empowerment across Australia.
