Twitter Creates Sales

It can often be hard to gage the ROI for social media.

It serves as a source to influence the purchase and create brand awareness yet it doesn’t always create immediate action.

Every once in a while you come across an instance where twitter works so perfectly and can be credited with a direct sale.

Here is a perfect example from The Terrace Hotel showing how much twitter can influence a decision and create immediate action. Not only have they used twitter to provide customer service, they have engaged a new customer resulting in a visit to the venue and a sale – that’s actual money in the bank…

By maintaining an active presence on twitter, The Terrace Hotel was able to engage a customer they might not have ever reached otherwise.

The original tweet from @michellelacyWA was retweeted by @tweetperth, the premier account for all things in Perth, which accordingly brought the tweet to our attention.

We were able to provide an informative and prompt response which extended the brand message of The Terrace Hotel. Less than 24 hours after the initial exchange, @michellelacyWA visited the venue.
