Project Brief:  In 2020, West Australians experienced a challenging year. With the global COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent border closures; businesses and individuals were affected financially and spiritually.

Geronimo Skydive wanted West Australians to “take back 2020” by encouraging them to do something challenging, fun, local and memorable, like skydiving.

What was the challenge/objective?

Coffey & Tea worked on:

Geronimo Skydive ran a marketing campaign where users would purchase a midweek 14,000ft or 15,000ft Rottnest Island Tandem Skydive experience and receive a complimentary Rottnest Ferry Ticket.

Over 12 weeks, Coffey & Tea ran Facebook and Instagram advertisements promoting the offer using high-octane and adrenaline-pumping imagery. These visuals put the audience right into the experience of skydiving and evoke the incomparable feeling of excitement and thrill you can only get from this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The primary campaign messaging urged West Australians to get outside, enjoy all the wonders our beautiful state has to offer and create some positive memories.

Across all the different ad sets, the campaign resulted in 41,306 clicks and an average click-through rate of 1.37%.
