Project Brief: The Perth Heat is a baseball team in the Australian Baseball League and is the most successful team in ABL, winning 15 Claxton Shields.
What was the challenge / objective?
The Coffey & Tea team worked on:
Continuing the momentum of their growth and success on the pitch, Coffey & Tea was engaged to develop a paid social media advertising campaign to increase their brand awareness and drive traffic to the website, and ultimately ticket sales.
Over a six-week period, Coffey & Tea crafted a series of Facebook and Instagram ads that were specific to the organisation’s goal. For example, during Perth Heat’s ‘home weekend’ games, the advertising was heavily focused on encouraging people to support and cheer on the team by purchasing tickets to the game.
To develop content that focused on cut-through and driving traffic to the website, Coffey & Tea used engaging imagery and a strong call-to-action that was in keeping with the brand. The team also ensured that all key messages were relevant to the demographic.
Over its lifetime, the Facebook ads reached a combined audience of 113,375 people and attracted 1,336 unique link clicks.
