The Work: Coffey & Tea developed the #FoamRoam competition, one of the first social media competitions run by a WA agency.
The mechanic was simple. Post a photo of your Foam takeaway cup somewhere interesting on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #FoamRoam. Win free coffee for a year.
Simple incentive. Creative licence. The kind of brief that travels because people actually want to play.
Hundreds of entrants became brand advocates. The cup showed up everywhere. The hashtag did the distribution work and the visual nature of the entries kept the brand showing up in feeds organically, well beyond the competition window.
