What we did

Social media and marketing

The brief

Missy Moos engaged us in February 2014 to build brand awareness and a bigger customer base for its two outlets, in Mt Hawthorn and South Fremantle.

The work

We started with a brand audit and a social media analysis that showed where the business needed to be more active. We merged the two store Facebook pages into one brand page and sharpened the message: gourmet burgers made fresh to order with premium local ingredients and lots of love and attention.

Each store kept its own local hook: takeaway to South Beach in South Freo, the playground at The Mezz in Mt Hawthorn. Perth food bloggers reviewed the burgers, we organised photo shoots, and we built local ties through the Mt Hawthorn Hub Committee and a sponsorship with the Mt Hawthorn Cardinals JFC.

The result

By the end of the contract, Missy Moos had passed 4,000 Facebook likes, up 74% with 1,909 new fans. Average Facebook engagement rose 133% and average daily reach 173%. Instagram grew from 323 to 1,000 followers, with average likes per post up 52%. PerthNow readers voted Missy Moos third in a Perth’s Best Burgers poll.
